Submission, Entry and Show Procedure

Welcome to the The Twin Rivers Lions VIRTUAL Art Show 2020 website.

Thank you for taking your time to consider our show.

If you choose to enter your art work in our Show then you will need to follow this procedure and agree to the Terms and Conditions for Entry and Sales.

The submission, entry and show procedure will follow these stages:

1. Initial Submission:

Submit your work and Entry payment/s via the Gallery 247 online system and before midnight on 15 Sep 2020. Quality colour images of the work in its entirety need to be included. Incomplete applications will not be considered. If there is a significant difference between the initial submitted image and the actual work the work will not be exhibited.  We recommend UNFRAMED artworks where possible in order to reduce delivery costs.

2. Review and Pre-Selection:

After the closing date all submissions will be reviewed and assessed by a Pre-Selection Panel.

3. Acceptance Notification:

Artists whose works are selected for exhibition will be notified via email or SMS using the online system and invited to exhibit at the Show. Artists must notify the Organisers if the work is no longer available for the Show. Withdrawn works may be substituted at the discretion of the Organisers.

4. Sales Notifications:

During the Show you will be notified via the online system if your artwork sells.

5. Sales Process and Distribution:

  • When the artist sells an item via the virtual art show - the artist will receive a SMS and an email with the details
  • The email will have the buyers name and address
  • This means that the buyer has paid for the artwork
  • The artist must then send the artwork to the address
  • The artist then logs in to Gallery247 and flags the art work as sent, plus how the art work will be delivered
  • The artist will then be paid into their Bank Account - 21 days after the buyer receives the item (less the commission fee)

6. Payments:

Payments for sold works will be made to the artist, via EFT (preferable) or cheque, for the sale proceeds minus the commission (inclusive of GST) within 21 days after the buyer receives the item.
